I provide therapy (in-person in Blacksburg and tele-therapy in CO & VA) to adult clients dealing with general depression, anxiety, trauma and life transitions. I also work with many clients specifically related to reproductive and maternal mental health including: parenting, pregnancy, postpartum issues, loss/trauma, infertility and menopausal transition.
My focus is to help each client build insight through curiosity AND develop coping skills. It involves an approach integrating relational therapy, trauma based therapy, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness. I value a person-centered approach, meeting clients where they are and providing guidance through a process of change.
