The most challenging step in seeking help is making the first appointment, and I understand it might be anxiety provoking. I provide individual and couples' therapy utilizing cognitive-behavioral theories within a solution-focused framework. This allows for some relief to happen quickly for depression, anxiety, panic, grief, PTSD, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, care giver stress, eating disorders, substance abuse, trichotillomania, infertility, LGBTQQIAAP issues, and neuropsychological (head injury, dementias). I also complete surgery (bariatric, gender) and adoption evaluations. ACCEPTING NEW TELEHEALTH PATIENTS.
I am a seasoned clinical psychologist with a neuropsychology specialty...so equipped to manage treatment where medical and mental health intersect. Examples of this include ADHD, head injuries, dementia, chronic illnesses, cancer, "chemo brain," tics, seizures, etc. I believe in lifelong learning/change, and love solving problems that keep people stuck.
Because of my additional training mentioned above, I welcome those with complex diagnoses, but also enjoy helping people simply grow.
