My ability to provide an accurate developmental model from which to work includes a more comprehensive perspective that helps me develop appropriate and insightful care. I truly believe that depression is treatable and most individuals improve with treatment. Thus, I aim to create an atmosphere of genuineness, as my sincere desire is to help others reach their full potential.

The historical, collaborative relationship of women in various phases with OB-GYNs allows specialists to be crucial access points to counseling services. Yet, physicians cannot fully address women's mental health during office visits. Thus, coordinating care of clients' needs to help them access services across the life span is tantamount (Koven, 2013).

Dr. Elston is a licensed psychologist with more than 25 years of experience providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy in a variety of settings, including a psychiatric hospital, inpatient psychiatry units, obstetrics and gynecology units of a medical center, private practice, and community-based counseling center.
