I use proven therapy methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness-based interventions, emotional freedom techniques, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. EMDR is a trauma therapy that heals emotional distress from present or past traumatic events.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Substance Use Disorder Professional, EMDR Therapist, and Certified Trauma Therapist. I have extensive knowledge of the substance use treatment field, 12-step Programs, and SMART Recovery.
