My approach as a therapist is to first reduce any distress that is showing up in the present in order to provide a more immediate sense of relief before walking alongside you to the places of pain in the past. Once we are able to step into past pain, we can work together to rewrite any false narratives and process through your individual experiences in order to create lasting healing. I have experience working with teenagers as young as 15, to adults in their late 70s. My specialties include working with trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, chronic health issues and I have experience working with those who have a TBI.
I work as an integrative therapist and incorporate several different therapy modalities such as IFS, CBT, DBT, EFT, Attachment-Focused, and Somatic Focused depending on one's unique needs and personal story. I am fully trained in EMDR and Brainspotting I and II, in order to further treat complex trauma.
My goal is to make starting this journey as easy and comfortable as possible.
