You get to write the next chapter in the book of your life. I work your agenda. We only work on the topics you bring into the counseling room. Remember, you are not the problem. The problem is the problem. We are here to conquer those problems.
I practice narrative therapy. With this approach we explore the stories of your life and ways to achieve your best self. I believe you are the expert on your life. As the therapist, I am here to ask the questions that will guide you through the therapeutic process. In session, we will work on the goals you set at your own pace.
The counseling room should be a safe place to discuss whatever needs to be discussed. This is an environment of acceptance and respect for all clients' lives, beliefs, and experiences. I believe that a serene space invites a sense of calm, bringing about the opportunity for self-evaluation and desired change.
