Tracey received a Masters in Clinical Social Work from NYU. Studied in Puerto Rico at The Pontifical Catholic University, attained additional Post Graduate Certificate from NYU and recently studied Neuropsychoanalysis: Attachment and Object Relations through the Lens of Functional Neuropsychobiology at the Object Relations Institute.
Tracey Gundel’s training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training with the Beck Institute and Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT) trained at St. Mary’s Hospital. Her experience with meditation and mindfulness is from teachings and retreat with Buddhist Thich Naht Han.

Inspired by the book, Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents by Clinical Psychologist Lindsay Gibson, this is a virtual therapeutic group for adults. An emotionally immature parent is one who could be present physically, but unable to provide nurturing and validation children need. Qualities of these parents include: tendency to be rigid, resistant to repairing relationships, lack respect for differences and their self esteem depends on child's compliance. Part of how the children adapt is ignoring what they need in effort to satisfy the unsatisfiable parent. The group will explore how these patterns can maladaptively interfere today. NYS residents.
