Depression, anxiety, painful entanglements, and the lingering effects of damaging experiences sap life of its joy. I have wide experience treating these problems and helping people improve their relationships, work lives, and sense of self.
I match my style to your needs. Sometimes talk therapy, short- or long-term, fits best. I have also done extensive training in using EMDR to resolve trauma and longstanding emotional wounds, sensorimotor work to release their psychobiological effects, and IFS to reconcile internal battles and negotiate stuck places.
With over 30 years in practice, I base my work in a deep appreciation for human suffering, human resilience, and the uniqueness of each individual. I also consult with therapists who want to develop their skills in psychodynamic and trauma therapies.
