Hello! At some point in life we find a need to talk to someone. Grief, loss, trauma, adjustment, relational issues are a few areas we can face. My specialties include: grief, trauma: civilian/military PTSD/PTSS, stress, substance abuse; Wellness Groups, Growing through Grief , prevention & early intervention. Boon and Katie, registered,therapy dogs, may join sessions. Boon began working at 9 weeks. In 2016 I added Military Trauma (CCMC) Certified Military Counselor Certificate. It was an honor to complete this certificate and begin working with our wonderful veterans and families. Come visit us at The Therapy House.
Working with Trauma since pilot program ;2012 Advanced TFCBT. 2016 added Military Trauma. The approach that FITS YOU is used. Additionally, I supervise others as they assist those in need. Join us and know what you share is private and you are respected.
In relocating to NC, I transferred the clinical psychology program over to a faith based program , offering a PhD in pastoral counseling. This model along with various testing works great in families and marriages; we've been so pleased to witness wonderful goals accomplished..
