I have been a counselor since 1996. I work collaboratively with you to create therapy goals that fit with your hopes, dreams, values, personal goals and commitments. I regularly seek your feedback on how the therapy is working for you.
I value the counseling relationship as a vehicle for change. I work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, PTSD, dissociation and other issues. I am active in the session, and integrate mindfulness, somatic approaches, brainspotting, EMDR, family systems, parts work, narrative and solution oriented therapy and DBT, CBT.
I honor and appreciate the knowledge and experience each person brings to therapy. I am curious, ask questions, and listen. I also respectfully discover with you any obstacles that may be blocking change or growth. My office is located in a culturally diverse neighborhood and I welcome people from all walks of life.
