In sessions we walk through core beliefs with clients to help them achieve their full potential. We also work to strengthen a person's ability to handle distress without losing control or acting destructively.
When people have issues from trauma, substance abuse, or anxiety, the most urgent need is to establish safety, signifying various elements: discontinuing substance abuse, reducing suicidiality, minimizing risk exposure, letting go of dangerous relationships, gaining control over symptoms, and stopping self-harm behaviors. We work with clients to reduce these symptoms and overcome their fears.

Island Integrated Health
Helping you and your loved ones create a lifetime of recovery from alcohol or drug abuse is our mission. Outpatient Treatment Program includes: Initial history and physical evaluation Psychological Assessment Individual case management Individual/group counseling Addiction education Relapse prevention Weekly family support and monthly Family Intensive Discharge planning. Intensive Outpatient is a half-day program that focuses on accountability and affords clients the opportunity to check in with staff and peers while navigating day to day life. This program can be accessed by clients stepping down from Partial Hospitalization or Residential levels of care.
