The wonderful thing about therapy is that it provides you with a sense of relief - with hope that things CAN get better - by giving you a safe, respectful and non-judgmental space to speak freely about what is troubling you, or what is painful in your relationship. I work to create a safe, respectful and supportive environment that alleviates feelings of aloneness, and facilitates connection, awareness, healing and positive change.
You need to feel completely supported and safe to be open and vulnerable. To that end, I bring warmth & humor, compassion & common sense to our sessions so that you are at ease and fully able to be "real." Areas of clinical focus are intimate relationships, including infidelity or intimacy/sexual issues, trauma recovery and family concerns.
You want to experience your life and your relationships differently, or more fully. I will empower and encourage you toward exploring your emotions, body experiences, thoughts, memories & desires. Wherever you are in your personal journey, I know it takes courage to reach out; I'd be happy to speak with you about taking that step. 30/60/90 minute sessions.
