Counseling is an effective way to help us navigate and cope with the expected and unexpected; increase our self-awareness and understanding; heal and get unstuck; and let go and move forward. As an individual, who like everyone else, experiences life's ups and downs and who engages in personal growth and self-care, I know through my personal and professional experiences that people, like you, can make changes; heal and recover; and improve and embrace your life.
Counseling is a process in which I work collaboratively with you to discuss, explore and address your concerns and help you help yourself achieve a healthy well-being. I will provide you with a non-judgmental, empathic and safe space for you to share your thoughts, feelings and experiences.
I appreciate working with individuals of diverse backgrounds, and of different sexes, genders, sexual orientations, ethnicities and spiritual preferences. I have extensive counseling experience working with individuals with various mental health concerns. I pull from an assortment of counseling approaches and modalities as a way to meet your unique and individualized needs.
