Do you find yourself struggling with depression, reconciling your childhood abuse, or suffering from grief and loss? Are you starting to recognize a pattern of insecure and unhappy relationships, stressed from raising children with behavior problems, or suffering from stress, anxiety, depression and sadness from any relational distress? I work with my clients by having a connected safe relationship, utilizing a mind-body-emotional approach, and teach mindfulness and compassion skills.I am an experienced presenter and trainer both nationally and internationally on several topics including child behaviors based on brain development.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor, Registered Play Therapist and Supervisor, National Certified Counselor and Certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapist. I enjoy serving all ages who struggle with anxiety, stress management, relationship problems and emotional trauma.

I help people who see me from a heart space that understands experiential and relational trauma. I believe the relationship is the most important skill that I bring to my work. My office is designed to feel safe and all those who enter are valued. I am assisted in my work by Shaq, my certified pet therapy maltipoo, who offers unconditional love and support.

This course is the product of significant research coming out of Austin, Texas at the University of Texas under Dr. Kristin Neff and Dr. Christopher Germer. This class will change your life; move you from self-criticism to self-kindness in tough situations and learn how to increase your happiness, resilience, motivation, peace, and compassion for self and others. Self-compassion for Healthcare

This online course is for anyone in the healthcare profession. This includes doctors, nurses, dentists, physical therapists, therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, retirement home personnel, veterinarians, nursing home staff, anyone taking care of a loved one who is incapacitated in some way. The course is one hour per week for 6 weeks. Learn the skills of self-compassion to build resilience and recover/prevent burnout. Taking care of yourself is not selfish; it is imperative!
