For many people, psychotherapy can be a powerful instrument for growth. It is my belief that therapy must be tailored to each person's unique needs, and I draw from a variety of methodologies and techniques to incorporate what is most helpful for each individual.
I have extensive post graduate training in psychodynamic and relational psychotherapy, trauma (EMDR and IFS), and mindfulness. I'm also a certified yoga and meditation teacher and thus value the interconnectedness of the social, emotional, intellectual and physiological realms, and believe all contribute to effective healing.
I specialize in working with adults and adolescents who are in transition and/or struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and chronic illness. I have a background in teaching and the creative arts, both of which inform and enrich my practice.
