Therapy is the process of rediscovering clarity, purpose, and joy. While starting therapy can seem daunting, I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space in which we'll explore your concerns together. I use compassion and humor to help you move through pain and worry, so that you can be more fully present in your life, relationships, and community. I will work hard with you to release unhealthy or frustrating ways of thinking or behaving that stand between you and the life you want. I strive to meet my clients with empathy and authenticity, backed up by over twenty years of experience and a commitment to research-based methods.
The time before or after the birth of a child can be an exhilarating, frustrating, and challenging. Many new parents struggle with difficulty bonding, sadness, worry, anger or obsessive/intrusive thoughts. I have specialized training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, and will work with you (and your partner if present) through this challenging time.
In addition to seeing clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationships, and work-life balance, I also provide care related to various aspects of reproductive health (preconception, fertility challenges, pregnancy, loss/grief, and lactation).
