I am a psychologist specializing in CBT for anxiety, OCD and depression. CBT is an evidence-based therapy that is proven to help people overcome thinking patterns that cause distress and prevent them from living the life they want. As a scientist-practitioner, I am committed to providing evidence-based treatment, including CBT, mindfulness, ERP, and PE. However, science can only take us part of the way. Your expertise in your lived experience is needed to complete the journey to your therapeutic destination. For this reason, I will collaborate with you to tailor your therapy experience to your unique challenges, needs, and values.
Because of my professional experience across academic and medical institutions both here in the United States and abroad, I am particularly familiar with the unique therapeutic needs and challenges of college students, graduate students, expats, academics, higher education professionals, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Specific conditions that I specialize in include OCD, panic disorder, GAD, PTSD, specific phobia, social anxiety, major depression, and academic/professional burnout.
