I support teens, pre teens, parents, families, individuals and couples deal with their challenges in a safe and supportive environment. I am experienced in depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions to name a few. I have extensive training in DBT, CBT, Mindfulness,EMDR and Somatic therapy. I am also fluent in Spanish and through my life lived in four different countries, therefore, enjoy working with a population with diverce cultural background.
I worked 10 years for the County of San Mateo in the youth mental health department. In addition to being a yoga teacher, I also have training on Ketamine assisted therapy and psychedelic integration. I work in a holistic way not only doing talk therapy but also in a more experiential way integrating mind and body.
I support clients in changing unhealthy habits, regulate themselves and be more self compassionate in order to feel happier and live life to the fullest.

Mindfulness Coping Skills for adolescent girls
In this group girls are able to share their difficulties with other girls going through the same and be aware they are not the only ones struggling, form healthy and respectful peer relationships. Girls will learn mindfulness coping skills to overcome difficult situations, be aware of their feelings, communicate them and request for their needs appropriately, practice self compassion , breathing and relaxing exercises to better focus, learn about the different aspects of themselves and how to accept them all. Girls will learn that they do have a say in their lives and how to better deal with their emotions and the pressures around them.
