I am a licensed psychologist in the Central Austin area. I have vast experience counseling adolescent and adult clients in individual, couples and family therapy. This experience has shown me that individuals can learn to cope with life's problems more efficiently and effectively. Therapy is a life-enriching process that often helps people become more attuned to themselves, others and the environment such that life feels more meaningful and coherent.
I especially enjoy helping individuals through life transitions. My research focused largely on the process people go through to establish a more stable sense of identity. We are often challenged by relationship and career issues as we attempt to establish a more coherent sense of ourselves through love and work.
My goal is to help clients become more effective in their lives. I have worked in many different settings with a wide range of psychological problems and work especially well with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, and identity concerns.
