Therapy is a collaborative process in which we gently explore your history and build on your strengths to create a greater sense of connection to you and your loved ones. We will increase your capacity and develop tools to become unstuck. I use a person-centered, attachment-based, trauma-informed, and multicultural approach. I have significant experience working with those who are healing from interpersonal trauma and complex grief. I work most with young people and adults who are navigating anxiety, sexuality, relationships, and life transitions. I work with couples who hope to increase intimacy and improve communication.
I am certified in Emotionally Focused Couple and Family Therapy, the ACA “Gold Standard” for therapy. I am also certified in EMDR and Adaptive Integrative Therapy, which are powerful and gentle tools to process and treat trauma. I am a Registered Play Therapist and certified practitioner of TBRI.
The symptoms of attachment injuries can be painful and overwhelming, but every person has an innate ability to heal. Powerful healing starts with a relationship where you feel safe and cared for.
