My goal is to provide support and practical feedback in order to help clients effectively address their issues and uncover those parts of themselves and aspects of their lives that need healing. With warmth, compassion and understanding, I work with each person to help them to build on their strengths and attain their life goals.

My areas of expertise include working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, people living with HIV/AIDS, trauma, LGBTQ issues, depression, anxiety, career/stage of life issues. I work with couples who need help through a challenging time, and those who have decided to end their relationship and want to do so amicably and respectfully.

Prior to becoming a psychotherapist I worked extensively in corporate and non-profit management and have presented at national conferences and to professional and general audiences speaking on the topics of grief and loss, LGBTQ cultural competence, non-profit administration and HIV/AIDS services.
