Our team of therapists is passionate about helping children, adolescents and families thrive. Many children struggle with emotional regulation, school and social anxiety, and behavioral challenges, but play therapy and other expressive therapeutic modalities can help them to express their needs in healthier ways. At Gaia Counseling, we have seen first hand how giving children and teens a safe space to process their inner emotional world, while keeping parents involved every step of the way, can not only transform their way of communicating but can also help families come together in ways that promote growth and healing.
We have several wonderful therapists on our team who specialize in supporting children and adolescents with neurodivergence, including ADHD and ASD, as well as those who are exploring their sexual and/or gender identities. We offer a warm, genuine, collaborative approach in an accepting and unbiased environment.
Gaia Counseling also offers family, parent, couples and individual adult therapy as important avenues to help our clients flourish. Children learn through play and discovery. The Gaia Elementary Group provides a safe therapeutic space for children to process inner feelings and learn coping skills as they share time with other children. Gaia Play Therapists will support and empower children with a relational child-centered approach that is compassionate and nurturing. Children will have the opportunity to process their feelings, develop coping skills, learn emotional regulation and connect with other kiddos.

Dungeons & Dragons Therapeutic Group- Adolescents

The group works together to build a custom made fantasy world that parallels real life in a safe space that allows them to process and learn.
